Jason and I hiked to some hot springs today in Spanish Fork Canyon. We followed a beautiful, winding river for 2.5 miles until we reached the hot pools. Considering the 103 degree weather we were hiking in, we were lucky this waterfall was freezing cold! (it didn't mix with the underground hot springs until a bit farther down stream. We love this new hike and are so excited to do it again in the fall when we can appreciate the warm water! But I must give a warning to anybody else tempted by this hike...shield your eyes! We saw some eccentric bathers within seconds of arriving at the pools(eccentric = nude!).

Surprise

I came home from the pool today to find a bouquet of flowers, my favorite soda and sweet notes hidden all over the house! It seems my amazingly wonderful husband took a break from studying for the MCAT to leave me a sweet surprise. I know, I know...I'm a lucky gal. :)

Welcome!

I've been dieing to complete this project for months! Finally I dedicated myself to it this afternoon and even had time to hang it up! Little projects like this are so fun and relaxing for me. I've decided to keep doing more over the next few weeks.

Jason decided to embarrass me and secretly video me trying to feed some horses. I swear this has worked the last two times I ran on the trail, but of course- the horses are camera shy and wouldn't come near me. sigh.

Bike Ride

Well we finally brought our camera with us on our last bike ride through the river trail. It was a beautiful ride alongside the river with the sun setting behind us. :) We love living in Provo!

Montana Mini-break

Some pictures of our trip to Montana! We surprised my parents, the Scotts and the Meusborns and "crashed" their weekend! We had a great time! We went mushroom hunting, did a little archery outside and went hiking in Glacier. As usual, Montana was breathtakingly beautiful and we really enjoyed ourselves.
