Stuart Falls

Jason and I hiked up to Stuart Falls on Saturday with some friends. It was a goregous 4 mile hike!

Land Rovers...I just love them.

Provo River Trail

Jason and I discovered a new entrance to the Provo River Trail just a mile from our house! It lead us all the way to Utah Lake. One side of the trail followed Provo River and the other followed farm fields or horse pastures. It was amazing! Next time we go out on it I'll take more pictures and post some on here. We are sure loving the freedom to explore that our new bikes give us!

Memorial Day Weekend!

Haley, Aaron, Josie, Sam, Ellie, Ava and Scout came for a weekend visit! We had tons of fun hanging out at random parks throughout Utah including Dinosaur Park! Located in Ogden, it's just 90 minutes away and offers a whole afternoon of fun. We loved being with everybody! Thanks for coming guys!!

The Host

I bought Stephenie Meyer's new book "The Host" on Friday and somehow managed to keep from reading it until Saturday night. I started at 8pm and read straight through until 5am. I slept for 5 hours, went to church, and then headed straight back to my book from 3 until 7 that night. Yeesh! But I finished it!! I can't say for sure if it's better than the "Twilight" series or not because I had a similar reaction with all three of those books as well, but I can definitely recommend it! It's clean, suspenseful, and complex--three of my favorite things. It's also romantic, comedic, and thought-provoking. It's not terribly intellectually stimulating, but it is entertaining. (those two things are nearly impossible to find in a single book anyways) So, as is probably obvious, I am dying to talk about it with someone and not have to worry about spoiling it! Everyone go out and read it and let me know what you think!

Tulip Festival

Jason and I went to the tulip festival at Thanksgiving Point last week. The flowers were amazing!!!
